This has cost money, time and a lot of stress with no solution or help from choosy.ie.Monson Insurance has been around since 1945 and started in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. ![]() People should just contact the new provider as Choosy.ie clearly do not do what they are supposed to so they are not fit for purpose. They were very reluctant to do so but said they would get back to me. I asked them to contact the 'new' provider to see what happened. I have spoken with Ian and Cian asked them to find out why this has happened and they basically said it shows up on their system as complete so they think that is sufficient, it is not. I did not contact them as Choosy.ie had confirmed the provider had been changed. ![]() This has cost a lot of money as the existing provider, Iberdrola, remove your discount if you do not contact them at the end of your contract. Choosy.ie confirmed to me numerous times that the provider had been changed but it had not. I used choosy.ie to change providers back in November 2020. I will be singing your praises to my family and friends. That is why I have gone to the trouble of posting this on Trustpilot. All I can say is that I am quick to criticise companies for poor service but also quick to praise where praise is due. Most of all, he advised me about what not to do which would have really messed me up. He offered some really helpful suggestions, and I mean very helpful, while solving my problem in a way I had not thought of. For example, yesterday I spoke with one of them about what to do due to the broadband being delayed for two weeks (not their fault). I have called their office three times in the past week, dealing with two different members of staff. ![]() Guess what? They provide a landline number I could call. I immediately found it to be very helpful in getting my broadband booked for when I return (I need it for work). I was trying to book broadband as I need it for work also and, after wasting a lot of time, I found Choosy.ie online. One of many of the challenges is that so many Irish companies provide no landline number to call from outside the country, often using 1800 numbers. I am in the process of moving back to Ireland from the UK after ten years.
